Definition And Application Of Pattern - 961 Words

Review on Pattern Recognitions -Rajat B. Abstract Pattern recognition is a technique to differentiate different pattern into classes through the help of supervised or unsupervised technique. We have developed highly sophisticated skills for sensing the environment and taking actions according to what we observe. This sensing and understanding is mostly dependent on ability to differentiate between patterns. The pattern recognition ability if with the help of machine learning can be applied in machine. The machine ability to make decision like human being will be enhanced. Many applications such as data mining, web searching, face recognition etc has already been in uses which are based on the pattern recognitions. The objective of this review paper is to summarize and compare some of the well-known methods and application used in pattern recognition system. Keywords- Pattern recognition, classification, clustering, machine learning, error estimation, neural networks. Introduction A pattern is an entity, that could be given a name and pattern recognition is the study of how machines can observe the environment and make sense of it by differentiating between patterns. Humans are best pattern recognizers but we do not understand how we recognize patterns. Why we need the pattern recognition? The answer is more relevant patterns at our disposal, the better decisions we can take. The challenge in pattern recognition is that theShow MoreRelatedData Mining And Its Impact On Healthcare1227 Words   |  5 Pages This large amount of data can be overwhelming. While it once seemed impossible to sort through and extract meaningful patterns from these enormous amounts of data, automated data processing techniques have significantly advanced. Aided by discoveries in computer science, the sorting and interpreting of big data is now a possibility. This process of extracting meaningful pattern from large datasets is known as data mining. Data mining techniques have been appl ied to businesses with much success.Read MoreMintzberg’s Concept of 5 Ps1219 Words   |  5 Pagesone of the ways is to analyse an emerging pattern based upon the intended strategies. In order to define strategy in detail, Mintzberg (1987a) state that strategies have to be defined in different ways as to achieve full comprehension of its implications. Therefore, the 5 Ps were presented as definitions of strategy in Mintzberg’s point of view. Each of the 5 Ps comprising aspects concerning strategy. According to Mintzberg, the 5 Ps are Plan, Ploy, Pattern, Position and Perspective. Mintzberg statedRead MoreThe Ethics Of Collection Practices And Use Of Big Data Essay1581 Words   |  7 PagesThis information can be collected from applications, text messaging, and simple just walking around with a cell phone connected. This data may be analyzed computationally to reveal patterns, trends, and other association relating to human behavior. The creation and use of this data is what today’s society puts under the large umbrella of big data. This paper discusses the ethics of collection practices and use of big data. o Definitions ï‚ § To begin some definitions need to be established for the paperRead MoreWhy The Cfpb Has The Authority Of A Regulations That Restrict Backoffices Transactions1071 Words   |  5 PagesBack Office, CFPB undertake protective measures against the citizens financial data while BackOffice tracking the financial data through applications that connected to the bills sender. Those four steps include attention, retention, reproduction, and motivation (Cherry, n.d.). Social learning theory implies that cognitive processes (thought patterns) and environmental cues (the behavior of others that may be modeled) are important for learning. The assigned readings show that Banduras original social learning theory was expanded on by other researchers like Akers. Akers suggested that theRead MoreBusiness Intelligence, Business, And Data Mining1544 Words   |  7 Pagesand Data Mining Business Intelligence Business Intelligence is a process which includes different technologies and methods process for analysing data and presenting information which is helpful for top level management.BI includes various tools, application, and methodologies that enable organizations to collect data from internal and external sources, prepare that for analysis develop and run queries against the data and generate different kind of graphs and reports. A design pattern solves a problem within a given context. The solution that is offered by implementing a pattern results in a system design structure, which balances the concerns of the design problem in a manner most appropriate for the given context. In â€Å"Understanding and Using Patterns in Software Development†, Dirk Riehle and Heinz Zullighaven offer a rather nice definition of what a design pattern is: â€Å"A pattern is the abstraction from a concrete
